Text | Mrs. Peachey Dies at Age 58 Mrs. Jessie Emma Peachey, 58, of 283 Alder Ave., died Monday at her home. Born in Port Arthur, she was the daughter of pioneer citizens, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Blacklock. Mrs. Peachey had resided in Fort Frances and Saskatoon before returning to the Lakehead in 1951. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Surviving are her husband, John A.; three daughters, Dorothy, Mrs. Peter Christy of Port Arthur, Margaret, Mrs. Don Chase, Port Arthur, Jane, at home; one brother, Nelson Blacklock, Port Arthur; five sisters, Mrs. J. Wallace, Port Arthur, Mrs. E. Van Hatten, Fort William, Mrs. R. Hunter, Fort William, Mrs. Ron Harrison, Sudbury, Mrs. W. Bell, Geraldton; four grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. R. A. Peden of Trinity United Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. | |
