Text | Thomas E. Linardy died unexpectedly June 18, 2007, at the Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. He was 63. Mr. Linardy was born in Rutland, Vt., on Oct. 8, 1943, son of the late Robert and Josephine (Murray) Linardy, and was a resident of Cambridge and Somerville before moving to Lowell several years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by Harvard University, where he worked at the JFK School of Government for Allied Barton Security Company. He enjoyed furniture refinishing and building models, especially wooden ships. He also enjoyed history, poetry and trivia. He was the husband of Bertha A. (Supprise) Linardy; father of Lee Ann Marks of Colorado, and Marie Marshall, Theresa Barchard and Michael Delicato, all of Dracut; and brother of John Linardy of North Carolina, James Linardy of Needham, Mary Carey of New Jersey, Bernard Linardy of Arizona, William Linardy of Randolph, David Linardy of Medway, Robert Linardy of New York and Leo Linardy of California. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was at Linwood Crematory in Haverhill. Afuneral Mass will be held Saturday, June 30, at 9 a.m. at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish at 1340 Lakeview Ave. in Dracut, with burial in Rutland, Vt. Arrangements were made by the McKenna- Ouellette Funeral Home in Lowell. | |
