Text | After a lengthy illness on Thursday, November 20, 1980 at his residence, Mr. Harold Haysham, aged 84 years, dearly beloved husband of Marjorie of 226 Roger St. Funeral service will be held at 2:15 p.m. Monday, November 24 at the Leatherdale-Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St. with Rev. C. Milton officiating. Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Haysham was born in Bridgwater, England and came to Canada in 1920. He served ib the First World War in the British Army in the Middle East. He was an ardent golfer and enjoyed woodcrafts in his home. Mr. Haysham is survived by his wife Marjorie; one daughter Olive Mellor and her husband William and two grandchildren, Donald and Robert, all of Winnipeg; one sister Mrs. Ralph Dosson and numerous nieces and nephews in England. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 700 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, Man.
